Job Overview:
The individual chosen for this role will be responsible for designing engaging physical education lessons that incorporate swimming instruction, adhering to the UK curriculum. You will motivate students to improve their physical skills, promote healthy lifestyles, and cultivate teamwork and sportsmanship.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a closely related discipline (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in physical education, preferably within a UK curriculum setting
- Expertise in planning and delivering PE lessons across various sports, including swimming
- Comprehensive understanding of health, fitness, anatomy, and safety protocols related to aquatic activities
- Ability to inspire students from diverse abilities and backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- A certification or qualification in swimming instruction is strongly preferred
