Teacher of Mathematics

Dubai College is looking to hire a dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics teacher for the upcoming academic year starting in August 2025.

While experience in teaching Further Mathematics is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for Mathematics and the capability to inspire and challenge gifted students from diverse backgrounds globally.

The chosen applicant will:

- Hold a good honours degree in Mathematics along with relevant qualifications to teach the subject at A Level
- Have Qualified Teacher Status and at least two years of post-qualification teaching experience
- Bring experience of teaching Mathematics within a British curriculum school.

Additionally, the individual in this role must:

- Be prepared to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 to 5, effectively stretching the most capable students while supporting all learners
- Either be capable of teaching Further Mathematics or have the willingness to develop this area within the next few years, with a focus on Further Statistics and Further Mechanics being particularly beneficial
- Exhibit excellent classroom skills employing a variety of teaching and learning methods
- Be an enthusiastic, creative, and innovative educator with a true passion for the subject who can inspire and engage students
- Have a solid understanding of Assessment for Learning and integrate AFL into everyday classroom practice
- Collaborate effectively as a team player and contribute positively to the department
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal professional growth and align with the school’s priorities
- Actively participate in the College’s extracurricular activities.
