Secondary Mandarin Teacher
St. Andrews International School is on the lookout for a dedicated, qualified, and enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher to become part of our dynamic team.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Native-level fluency in Mandarin
- Prior experience teaching Mandarin, with a strong preference for those familiar with IGCSE Mandarin 2nd Language and IBDP Mandarin A/Ab-initio/B
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Proficiency in using school databases, communication platforms, and educational technology
- At least 3 years of experience in this or a comparable position, preferably in an international school environment
- Qualifications that enable teaching and working with students
- A teaching license from China or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred
About the School
St. Andrews International School Sukhumvit 107 (S107) is situated on a spacious green campus next to Bearing BTS station in Bangkok. Catering to students from Nursery to Year 13, our school hosts around 700 students from over 40 nationalities. We are part of the St. Andrews group in Thailand and are affiliated with the global Cognita network.

Our curriculum at S107 is based on the best practices of the English National Curriculum while integrating relevant international programs and methodologies. In Early Years, we adhere to the early learning goals from the English EYFS framework, offering children outstanding outdoor learning experiences. In Primary, we employ an inquiry-based, student-centered approach grounded in the English National Curriculum, encouraging students to connect and synthesize knowledge across different subjects.
In Secondary, we deliver the English National Curriculum leading to IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme, while also providing alternative pathways such as BTECs and the IBCP for students who may benefit from these options.
