Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate educators with expertise in Coding & Robotics who are excited to foster a love for learning and enhance the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, with positions available starting in August 2026.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for Middle School Coding & Robotics educators dedicated to nurturing curiosity, driving achievement, and supporting every student’s success at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

•
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Coding & Robotics to students in line with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

•
Develop and apply innovative teaching strategies that inspire enthusiasm for Coding & Robotics while promoting critical thinking.

•
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

•
Ensure consistency in the delivery of curriculum content.

•
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

•
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages exploration and curiosity.

•
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Successful candidates will need:

•
A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or a Level 5 equivalent in Computer Science/Coding/Robotics.

•
Proven experience in teaching Middle School Coding & Robotics, preferably within an American/IB curriculum setting.

•
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and hands-on education in Coding & Robotics.

•
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

•
Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

•
A strong commitment to continually improving their teaching practice and delivering outstanding learning experiences.
