Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in music at the middle school level or its equivalent
- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. music curriculum standards and effective teaching methodologies
- Ability to teach various elements of music, such as theory, performance, appreciation, and the integration of technology
- Strong classroom management skills and an ability to engage a diverse range of learners
- Proficient in using educational technology tools relevant to music education
