About This Role
Lanna International School is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science teacher to join our Secondary team in August 2026. If you have experience teaching iGCSE and A Level Computer Science and are motivated to help students develop their skills and understanding in this crucial field, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a technology-driven world. As a member of our Science and Technology department, your key responsibilities for the 2026/27 academic year will include:
- Teaching AS & A Level Computer Science (Cambridge International syllabus 9618)
- Instructing iGCSE Computer Science for Years 10 & 11 (Cambridge International syllabus 0478)
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A PGCE (or an equivalent full teaching qualification) alongside a degree in Computer Science.
- Ideally, prior experience in a UK educational setting.
- A creative and innovative approach to engaging students in their learning process.
- A genuine passion for teaching IGCSE and A Level courses.
Please note: Applicants without a full teaching qualification and relevant degree will not be considered.

- Enhanced criminal background checks, along with police clearances from every country where the applicant has lived for more than six months in the past decade.
- A detailed review of employment history, requiring explanations for any gaps, which will be followed up during the interview process.
