POSITION SUMMARY: The Nawigizigweyas Education Centre is a dynamic community within the Saulteaux First Nation, offering comprehensive K-12 programs and services to around 300 students. We are in search of a dedicated instructional leader to oversee the daily administration and operations of the school. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directing and overseeing the school's instructional program.
• Providing guidance and support to teachers and staff.
• Engaging with parents and community members.
• Ensuring the success and well-being of students.
• Managing the school’s budget and resources effectively.
• Enforcing school policies and procedures.
• Launching a successful Saulteaux Land Based Program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master of Education with a focus on Educational Administration.
• Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate or eligibility for one.
• At least 8 years of experience in a principal role.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong written communication and reporting capabilities.
• Experience within First Nation communities.
