IB DP Global Politics Teacher - August 2026

Bloom World Academy is on the lookout for innovative and skilled educators to take on the position of IB DP Global Politics Teacher for the Academic Year 2026/2027.

As an IB educator, you are expected to demonstrate a strong dedication to fostering international mindedness within your classroom and to support the broader development of this ethos throughout the school. Familiarity with, or a solid understanding of, a student-centered, inquiry-based learning framework is essential. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

We are interested in seasoned teachers who are passionate about enabling every child to thrive and nurturing a classroom atmosphere where all students can excel. You will be tasked with teaching a diverse range of learners and showcasing a successful history of achieving exceptional student outcomes.

Experience with the IB programme is highly desirable, though it is not a prerequisite, as training will be provided. As a practitioner, you should have the capability to design rich, engaging, and stimulating learning experiences for your students, possess a solid understanding of assessment practices in the classroom, and most importantly, have a fervor for encouraging students to reach their full potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

Proficient/advanced-level English language skills

Bachelor's degree in Global Politics or a related field, alongside a PGCE in Education with QTS or an equivalent qualification

Subject-specific experience in an IB or GCSE setting

•
At least three years of teaching experience in a reputable institution

•
A history of achieving outstanding student results

Exemplifies professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity

•
Inter-cultural awareness, strong communication skills, and eagerness to engage with both students and parents
