British Education Korea is currently seeking qualified English-speaking EYFS Teachers to join our team for the 2026 academic year. This position is ideal for educators experienced in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), encompassing Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Reception.

Candidates must possess a recognized teaching qualification such as a teaching degree, PGCE, or equivalent. Experience in an EYFS or early childhood setting is highly preferred.

Job Description

We are looking for passionate and dedicated EYFS Teachers to become part of our expanding team. In this role, you will engage with young learners during the early phases of their education, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth through play-based and inquiry-led methodologies.

Teachers collaborate within an EYFS team and are supported by a dedicated Korean bilingual teacher. This collaboration facilitates effective classroom assistance and nurtures a learning environment that values both English-language immersion and local cultural nuances.

Your responsibilities will include establishing a secure, stimulating, and inclusive atmosphere where children can cultivate confidence, curiosity, and a passion for learning, consistent with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities



Design, implement, and deliver captivating EYFS-appropriate lessons and activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.


Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages early childhood development.


Observe, evaluate, and document student progress using EYFS-appropriate assessment techniques.


Aid students’ social, emotional, and personal growth, promoting independence and positive behavior.


Collaborate with colleagues, including bilingual teachers and support staff, to provide a cohesive learning experience.


Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding student development and well-being.


Participate in school events, professional development initiatives, and the broader school community.


Adhere to and actively promote the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.

Qualifications and Experience:


A Bachelor’s degree.


A recognized teaching qualification such as a B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent.


Experience in an EYFS or early childhood setting is highly desirable.


Strong understanding of child-centered, play-based learning methodologies.


Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


A commitment to ongoing professional development.


A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children.

Working Time

The standard working hours are from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm. All full-time staff members are expected to be present on campus throughout the working day unless given explicit permission by the Headteacher or involved in official duties. Staff members have a 60-minute break.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
