What Distinguishes Us?

At Al Salam Community School, we celebrate diversity, with tolerance and inclusion forming the basis of our shared mission. We are honored to embody values that align with Dubai’s vision, which is evident in our learning environment. A key advantage of Al Salam Community School is its status as an independent institution; we are proud to be one of the few remaining family-owned independent schools in Dubai. Our student body is a true reflection of diversity, encompassing a wide range of ethnicities, nationalities, academic abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds. We promote high aspirations among our learners, nurture their curiosity, and encourage their creativity. Our newly designed facilities and learning spaces support a comprehensive extracurricular program centered on character development. Consequently, we are dedicated to delivering top-quality education by attracting a largely untapped pool of highly qualified educators and effective leaders.

As members of the Al Salam Team, we uphold the following values:

Prioritize our Children - A reminder of our fundamental purpose; we embrace a sacred and moral responsibility.

Foster a Sense of Home at Al Salam - We build upon and expand what has contributed to Al Salam’s success.

Embrace Every Day as a Learning Opportunity - This keeps us focused on our ambitions as learners and facilitators of learning.

The learners we strive to develop include:

Aspiring Learners - Inspired individuals who aim to achieve remarkable things and aspire to bring about positive change in their communities.

Learners with Agency - Students who recognize their ability and responsibility to strive for excellence and make significant contributions to the present and future.

Agile Learners - Determined individuals who are well-equipped to pursue their goals and navigate challenges and adversity.

Learners with Altitude - Those committed to a lifelong journey of personal growth while actively working to uplift others.

Our Curriculum:

Our curriculum is anchored in the National Curriculum for England, yet it is also shaped by contemporary global topics and the unique context of the UAE, catering to the interests of our international student body. ASCS is fully technology-enabled and recognized as a Google certified school, ensuring that both teachers and students are equipped with Chromebooks. Our educators and students are well-versed in using technology for both classroom and home learning. While subjects are taught independently, our Secondary education employs a Design Thinking approach to engage students in problem-solving, critical thinking, and making connections across the curriculum, preparing them for their academic journey ahead.

Our Staff:

We seek inspiring educators who can provide exceptional teaching and learning experiences for our students, laying a strong foundation for them to become positive contributors to society.
