In light of the ongoing expansion at The Royal Grammar School Guildford, Qatar (RGSGQ), we are eager to recruit a remarkable Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning for our Secondary School. This position is available at one of the most esteemed British International schools in the Middle East.
RGSGQ has established a robust partnership with RGS Guildford in the UK, a prestigious independent institution known for its rich tradition of delivering exceptional education. Additionally, we maintain strong connections with our international sister schools around the globe.
The Royal Grammar School Guildford, Qatar is a comprehensive British institution providing a co-educational British curriculum for students aged 3 to 18. Since opening in September 2016, the school has grown to accommodate over 785 students on its campus, conveniently located just 20 minutes from the Pearl and the new Lusail city. Our students engage with the English Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2, and 3, while Key Stage 4 includes a wide selection of IGCSE courses. In the Post-16 phase, we offer various AS levels. The school is renowned for its exceptional teaching standards and boasts excellent sports facilities, including an astro turf, sports hall, and an outdoor swimming pool.

About the Role:
The Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic development and execution of high-quality teaching and learning practices at RGSGQ. This individual will collaborate closely with senior leadership and faculty members to enhance curriculum delivery, advocate for effective pedagogical approaches, and ensure student achievement.
