We are in search of a passionate and experienced Head of Educational Technology to lead our Design and Technology Department at the High/Secondary School level.

Job Description:
The Head of Educational Technology will take charge of the integration and advancement of technology as well as the teaching and learning of ICT and Computer Science subjects from KS3 to KS5. This role entails leadership in curriculum design, professional development for staff, resource management, and ensuring that educational technology effectively enhances student learning outcomes throughout secondary school.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma or a higher qualification in educational technology or design & technology.
- At least 5 years of experience working with educational technology in a secondary school environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK curriculum requirements for ICT and Computer Science.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing teams or departments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, parents, and external partners.
- Proficiency in contemporary educational technologies, including software tools relevant to ICT and Computer Science education.
- Capability to devise innovative strategies that seamlessly integrate digital tools into teaching practices.
- Experience in preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science examinations.
