Science Teacher
About This Role
Provide exceptional instruction in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and/or environmental science. The educator will establish an interactive, inquiry-driven learning atmosphere that fosters student curiosity, critical thinking, and the practical application of scientific concepts through experiments, research, and solving real-world issues.
Key Responsibilities:

Instruct students in science disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics, and/or environmental science) in alignment with the established curriculum and educational benchmarks.

Design and implement captivating lessons that facilitate inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and exploration within the sciences.
•
Modify teaching strategies and resources to support various learning styles and capabilities, ensuring an inclusive classroom for all students.
•
Motivate students to pose questions, formulate hypotheses, carry out experiments, and interpret data, encouraging a hands-on learning experience.
•
Plan and oversee laboratory experiments, field excursions, and practical demonstrations, enabling students to apply scientific principles in authentic contexts.
•
Cultivate a classroom environment that sparks curiosity and enhances students' investigative and problem-solving abilities.
•
Create and administer both formative and summative assessments to gauge student comprehension and proficiency in scientific topics.
•
Offer timely and constructive feedback on assignments, experiments, and assessments to aid students in improving their understanding and mastery of scientific concepts.
•
Monitor student progress and modify teaching approaches based on assessment outcomes to address individual learning needs.
•
Differentiate instruction for a diverse group of learners, including students needing additional assistance and those pursuing advanced challenges.

Establish an inclusive classroom that invites all students to engage with scientific content appropriate to their level.
