Teacher of Physics (Secondary)
About This Role
RGSPP is seeking a committed and outstanding Teacher of Physics to deliver high-quality instruction across Secondary Key Stages, particularly focusing on KS3, IGCSE, and International AS/A Level. As an integral part of our founding team in our second year, you will significantly contribute to establishing academic excellence, developing laboratory protocols, and nurturing practical inquiry skills that enable our students to achieve the highest international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-organized Physics lessons that adhere to the British curriculum.
- Lead the creation of IGCSE and International AS/A Level Physics programs.
- Promote a "founding mindset" by efficiently organizing laboratory resources and enforcing safety protocols.
- Be prepared to teach General Science at KS3 and potentially support other Science subjects (Chemistry/Biology) as the school expands.
- Embody RGSPP’s core principles of Discovery, Opportunity, Values, and Excellence (DOVE).
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a degree in Physics or a related Engineering/Scientific field.
- Possess a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or its equivalent).
- Demonstrate a successful track record in teaching IGCSE and International AS/A Level Physics, with evidence of achieving strong student outcomes.
- Have a solid understanding of laboratory management and international health and safety standards.
- Experience in a "start-up" or rapidly evolving educational setting is highly beneficial.
