We are now seeking a passionate and well-qualified Geography Teacher to join our Senior School. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons that build strong geographical knowledge, analytical thinking, and global awareness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons that develop strong geographical knowledge, critical thinking, and global awareness.
Plan and implement high-quality schemes of work aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school standards.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where all students feel challenged and motivated.
Integrate digital tools and resources to enhance learning, research, and geographical enquiry.
Contribute to the pastoral care of students and support their overall well-being.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure curriculum consistency.
Participate in school events, field trips, clubs, and enrichment activities as part of the broader school community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
A recognized teaching qualification and a degree in Geography or a closely related field.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography and global learning.
Excellent classroom practice with the ability to support and challenge students of all abilities.
Effective organizational skills and a commitment to high academic standards.
A positive, flexible attitude and openness to innovation and continuous professional development.
Experience with Cambridge programmes or international curricula (highly desirable).
