We are seeking to appoint a highly committed and suitably qualified Class Teacher to join our dedicated team in the Portuguese Bilingual Curriculum.
About St. Julian's School
Founded in 1932, we are a highly successful, non-selective 3-18 British international school with a reputation for academic excellence. We currently have just over 1,200 students from over 60 different nationalities. The School has three sections: Primary, Secondary, and Portuguese. The Primary Section has 480 pupils with three classes per year. The School is led by a team that comprises the Head, Bursar, principals for the three sections, Director of Technology, Director of Student Support and Director of Professional Learning. The Primary Section has its own leadership team including two Deputy Principals.
We broadly follow the National Curriculum for England leading to IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme.
Google Apps for Education is used across the whole school as a learning and administration platform and all teaching staff are given their own MacBook Air.
We have been accredited by CIS (Council of International Schools) and NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) since 1998, we are an Accredited Member of COBIS and our Head is an International Member of HMC (Heads' Conference).
The School is conveniently located within walking distance of Carcavelos train station, with direct access to central Lisbon and Cascais.
