We seek passionate, reflective, and dedicated Early Childhood educators to join our team and support our youngest learners in their academic, social, and emotional development within a bilingual, inquiry-based framework.
As the Preschool French Lead Teacher, you will lead a French immersion preschool class using an 80-20 immersion model. By integrating into our vibrant educational community, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, focusing on both academic success and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement captivating, well-structured lessons that link classroom learning to real-world contexts, promoting enthusiasm and academic success in line with IB and state standards.
- Differentiating instruction utilizing various developmentally appropriate teaching and assessment methods to meet the needs of all learners.
- Oversee and support the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
- Maintain high expectations for student behavior to foster a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Effectively incorporate technology to enrich student learning experiences.
- Build a strong sense of community by actively engaging with students, colleagues, and families.
- Collaborate efficiently with colleagues, leadership, and staff throughout the school.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Participate in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- A Master’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Preschool experience.
- Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs is preferred.

Salary
- Starting at $55,000.
