Opaskwayak Education Services Inc. is seeking to hire 1 Data Entry Clerk (Term).
SUMMARY: The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for the accurate entry, updating, verification, and management of data in both electronic and paper formats, while ensuring confidentiality, efficiency, and the integrity of data. This position is vital within the Post Secondary Department, helping Opaskwayak Education Services Inc. to maintain precise, organized, and secure records for its Post Secondary Program.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Primary responsibilities:
- Execute data entry in the “Class” section of SAGE Intaact for all post-secondary students from the initiation of SAGE up to the present—2023 to 2026.
- Participate in training for SAGE PSP Reports, which are necessary for reporting to Indigenous Services Canada.
- Generate reports for the Post-Secondary Program, including annual reports related to individualized student funding and overall budget distributions.
- Create visual representations for reports, like charts, pie graphs, and bar graphs, among others.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately transcribe data from physical documents into the SAGE system for Post-Secondary, including cheque requisitions and purchase requisitions, as well as printouts of approved SAGE requests for Post-Secondary Counsellors.
- Support administrative tasks such as scanning documents and handling correspondence.
- Collaborate with post-secondary counsellors to ensure a seamless, efficient, and timely workflow.
- Uphold confidentiality by protecting sensitive information, including data related to Post-Secondary.
