Cycle 1 English Homeroom Teacher

Yas School is thrilled to announce a vacancy for a dynamic Cycle 1 English Homeroom Teacher to join our team in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year, or earlier if possible.

At Yas School, we follow the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, focusing on inclusive education, enrichment, and preparing our students for the future. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school, accommodating over 1750 boys and girls on our spacious campus.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in UK or US curricula, preferably with knowledge of the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

In your position at Yas School, you will be tasked with delivering captivating and effective lessons that contribute to students’ academic achievement, personal growth, and overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in helping students reach their full potential and equipping them to thrive as competitive global citizens, all while honoring and promoting the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.

As part of our teaching team, you will build strong relationships and maintain open communication with parents, colleagues, and students, adhering to high academic and behavioral standards that reflect the school’s values and policies. You will be committed to cultivating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student is inspired to succeed.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in a relevant field.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related discipline is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingual skills (English & Arabic) are highly desirable.
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
