About This Role
The Good Spirit School Division is seeking applications for the role of Principal at Bear Stream Colony School in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, starting in the 2026 - 2027 academic year. Candidates who possess the following qualifications will be given priority:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
- Previous successful experience in school administration is considered advantageous
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a strong school leadership team while:
- Setting Direction
- Creating a Learning Organization
- Developing People
- Leading the Instructional Program
- A reflective practitioner
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- A high level of emotional intelligence coupled with a growth mindset
- Proven capability to engage and involve diverse stakeholder groups in the school community
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to achieve measurable results in alignment with the GSSD Strategic Plan
- A commitment to Indigenous culture and heritage
- An innovative perspective on education

Salary & Benefits: In line with the existing Saskatchewan Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement.
