Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver captivating, innovative, and high-quality lessons for BTEC Creative Media at Level 3 and/or Level 3.
  • Exhibit a strong grasp of media theory, production techniques, and industry standards.
  • Effectively plan, prepare, and evaluate learning, ensuring tailored approaches to accommodate all students’ needs.
  • Keep precise records of student achievement, progress, and assessment data.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere that promotes creativity, innovation, and independent thought.
  • Utilize digital tools, editing software, and media technologies to enrich the teaching and learning experience.
  • Prepare students for both internal and external assessments, coursework, and examinations.
  • Engage in curriculum development and departmental planning initiatives.
  • Support co-curricular and extra-curricular endeavors such as media clubs, productions, exhibitions, or school events.
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and professional standards consistently.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and leadership to assist in student progress and well-being.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, professional growth opportunities, and performance management processes.
