We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher for MYP and DP students, responsible for designing and delivering engaging, concept-driven visual arts lessons in line with the International Baccalaureate framework. This position involves guiding students through inquiry-based learning, enhancing their technical skills across various media, and fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression.

The teacher will aid students in documenting and refining their artistic processes while preparing them for both internal and external assessments, exhibitions, and portfolio development. Additional duties include fostering an inclusive studio environment, integrating global perspectives, encouraging reflection and critique, and contributing to the school’s art displays and exhibitions.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in education or a related degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area
  • A minimum of 2 years of preferred teaching experience
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • IB teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory
