THE VACANCY
Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Head of Key Stage 2 Physical Education to join our team starting August 2026. This is a remarkable leadership role within our Prep School, tasked with leading and enhancing a high-caliber, inclusive, and engaging Physical Education program for Key Stage 2. We are in search of a dynamic and exceptional educator who can ignite a passion for physical activity, advocate for healthy living, and encourage both participation and performance in sports.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in teaching and leadership, a clear vision for Primary PE in a prestigious independent school, and the capability to implement a comprehensive, engaging, and well-organized program that accommodates students of varying abilities.

THE ROLE
As the Head of Key Stage 2 Physical Education, you will oversee the planning and implementation of PE throughout the Prep School (Years 3–6), ensuring a top-notch, engaging, and inclusive program that fosters participation, skill enhancement, and enjoyment.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing a progressive KS2 PE curriculum that caters to students of all abilities while recognizing and cultivating athletic talent. This role will involve close collaboration with colleagues from both the Prep and Senior Schools to ensure continuity and coherence within our broader sports offerings.
Moreover, this position will play a vital role in our co-curricular sports program, including fixtures, clubs, and events which will help cultivate a lively and active sporting culture within the school.
