What Sets Us Apart?

At Al Salam Community School, we celebrate diversity, with tolerance and inclusion forming the foundation of our shared mission. We take pride in embodying community values that align with Dubai’s vision, which is evident throughout our learning environment. One of our distinct advantages is being an independent school; in fact, we are among the few remaining family-owned independent schools in Dubai. Our student body is characterized by a rich diversity of ethnicities, nationalities, academic abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds. We encourage high aspirations in all our learners, nurture their curiosity, and stimulate their imagination. Our newly designed facilities and learning spaces support a comprehensive extracurricular program centered on character development. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional educational quality, drawing from a largely untapped pool of highly qualified teachers and successful leaders.

As part of the Al Salam Team, we uphold the following values:

Put our Children first - This reminds us of our core mission, highlighting our sacred and moral duty.

Make Al Salam Home - This ensures we continue to build on the strengths that have made Al Salam successful.

Every day is a School Day - This keeps us focused on our aspirations as learners and facilitators of learning.

As educators, we aim to develop:

Learners with Aspiration - Motivated individuals who dream of achieving greatness and wish to create positive change in the world and for those around them.

Learners with Agency - Students who believe in their ability and responsibility to excel in the world, intent on making meaningful contributions today and in the future.

Learners with Agility - Individuals who are determined, equipped, and capable of pursuing their goals while overcoming challenges and adversity.

Learners with Altitude - Those committed to a lifelong journey of personal growth and dedicated to uplifting others.

Our Curriculum:

Our curriculum is rooted in the National Curriculum for England while being influenced by contemporary global topics and the unique context of the UAE, catering to the specific interests of our international student community. ASCS is entirely technology-enabled and is a Google-certified school, providing both teachers and students with Chromebooks. Our staff and students are adept in using technology for both classroom and home learning. While subjects are taught separately, our Secondary education employs a Design Thinking approach to learning, engaging students in problem-solving and critical thinking, fostering connections across the curriculum, and preparing them for the next phase of their educational journey.

Our Staff:

We seek inspirational educators capable of delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences, providing students with a strong foundation for life, and preparing them to be positive contributors to society.
