Olga Gudynn International School (OGIS) is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join our primary team. This position presents an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire young learners during a crucial stage of their growth, nurturing their curiosity, confidence, and passion for learning.

The ideal candidate will implement a diverse and engaging curriculum rooted in the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, facilitating both academic advancement and personal development for our students.

Key Responsibilities

● Teach a Year 2 class within the primary division

● Design and conduct engaging lessons that align with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum

● Evaluate, monitor, and assist with student progress

● Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere

● Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents

● Participate in the wider school community, contributing to events and activities

Person Specification
● A degree in Primary Education or a related field

● PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification

● Experience in teaching within the primary phase (preferably Key Stage 1)

● Familiarity with, or experience in teaching, the Cambridge Primary Curriculum is advantageous

● Strong organizational and classroom management skills

● A nurturing, child-centered teaching approach

● Dedication to maintaining high standards in teaching and learning
