About the School

International Rural School is a quaint, independent British international institution situated in a stunning natural setting close to Barcelona. Established in 2017, the school has expanded consistently while upholding its fundamental philosophy of tailored education, intimate class sizes, and a strong community spirit.

We provide educational programs from Early Years through A Levels and function as a Cambridge International examination center, preparing students for IGCSE and A Level assessments. Our diverse community places a premium on academic excellence, alongside a comprehensive educational framework.

The Role

We are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated Secondary and A Level educators across various subject areas to join our expanding international team.

At International Rural School, teachers are expected to provide high-quality instruction that aligns with the British curriculum and Cambridge International programs, aiding students in building robust academic foundations while promoting critical thinking, independence, and intellectual curiosity.

The successful applicants will:

Instruct Secondary and/or A Level courses in their area of expertise

Requirements

•
C2 level of English (native or near-native proficiency)

•
Experience in teaching Secondary or A Level within the British curriculum

A recognized teaching qualification

Strong subject matter expertise and organizational abilities
