The Role
The ideal candidate will instruct Mathematics across both middle and high school grades, delivering captivating lessons that adhere to the American curriculum framework while aiding students in developing confidence and proficiency in mathematics.
• Assist students in enhancing their problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
• Employ student-centered teaching methods that inspire exploration and mathematical thought
• Incorporate technology and digital tools to bolster mathematical learning
• Evaluate and track student progress through both formative and summative assessments
• Foster a classroom atmosphere where students feel supported, challenged, and assured in their mathematical abilities
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching practices
• Participate in the broader school community through extracurricular activities and community involvement
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related discipline
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Mathematics at the Middle School and/or High School level
• Familiarity with or training in an American curriculum framework
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience within an international school environment is a plus but not a prerequisite.
