What You Will Do
• Teach dynamic and impactful General Science lessons for KS3 and IGCSE and Chemistry for the IB Diploma level.
• Create inquiry-based learning experiences that enhance scientific reasoning, experimentation, and real-world application.
• Implement formative and summative assessments to guide your teaching and provide constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Work closely with the Science Department to ensure curriculum coherence and develop interdisciplinary connections.
• Engage in the broader activities of the school, including clubs, enrichment programs, and pastoral care.
About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related discipline.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or an equivalent international certification).
• Proven experience in teaching KS3 and IGCSE Science, and preferably IB DP Chemistry (or A-Level).
• Profound subject knowledge, inclusive teaching methods, and proficiency in using digital learning platforms.
• A reflective educator with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a dedication to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
