Your responsibilities will include:
•
Crafting and delivering impactful Art lessons (Primary–KS3; KS4 preferred) that adhere to the Cambridge/UK curriculum.
•
Enhancing students' artistic abilities, creativity, visual literacy, and critical thinking through a wide array of media (drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, digital art preferred).
•
Promoting experimentation, independent thought, and reflection while fostering students' confidence and unique artistic expression.
•
Utilizing assessments to guide teaching and interventions; offering clear and constructive feedback to both students and parents.
•
Leading or participating in exhibitions, competitions, enrichment activities, and school-wide creative projects.
•
Ensuring adherence to best practices regarding safeguarding, inclusion, health & safety, and risk assessments within the art studio setting.
•
Working collaboratively within the department on curriculum development, progression, moderation, and enrichment opportunities.
About you:
•
A degree in Art / Fine Art / Art & Design (or a related field) and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or an equivalent international qualification).
•
Proven experience teaching Art within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum; familiarity with preparing students for IGCSE/GCSE Art is a plus.
•
Strong classroom management skills with inclusive strategies for multilingual learners, and proficient use of digital tools (Adobe suite, digital portfolios, Google/Microsoft platforms).

Capability to create an inspiring studio atmosphere that showcases student work and encourages artistic risk-taking.
•
A growth mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a strong dedication to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
