ABOUT ALMADA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

ROLE
We are in search of a Lower Secondary Science teacher who is enthusiastic about merging STEM-related projects into the educational experience.
Start date: August 2026.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• A solid academic foundation in Science or a related discipline (Biology, Physics, Chemistry).
• Previous teaching experience in educational environments.
• Proficient ICT skills, capable of delivering creative, practical, and engaging lessons.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum for Lower Secondary and iGCSE.
• Exceptional communication abilities in English, along with a willingness to learn Portuguese (if not already proficient).
• A collaborative spirit for working within a cross-curricular teaching framework.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on engaging and challenging students.
• Strong classroom management capabilities.
• A commitment to monitoring individual student needs, progress, and development effectively.
