About This Role

About Ta’allum Group:

The Ta’allum group encompasses three well-regarded schools situated in South West Doha. Due to high demand, plans are underway to establish two additional schools in Doha.

Our educational framework adheres to the English National Curriculum, tailored to cater to the needs of our predominantly Qatari student population. Specialist instructors deliver Islamic Education, Qatar History, and Arabic, aligning with the national guidelines set forth by local authorities.

In our Junior School, we emphasize Quality First Teaching, establishing expectations for instruction and learning in core subjects—English, Mathematics, and Science—based on UK standards. Our institutions are overseen by seasoned senior leaders trained in the UK and are largely staffed by teachers from the UK or Western backgrounds.

We are on the lookout for imaginative and dedicated KS2 & KS3 Primary trained teachers, as well as aspiring school leaders with ECT status, to commence in August 2025.

The school fosters a friendly atmosphere, offering support and mentorship to educators who are new to the international education landscape. Many of our Junior School teachers are pursuing MA or NPQ-related courses, with the school providing support. As a collective, we are dedicated to ongoing school enhancement and hold full accreditation from WASC.

We utilize UK teaching resources such as Read Write Inc, Talk for Writing, and White Rose Maths, which enables experienced UK educators to easily acclimate to our learning setting and feel at home in the classroom.

Teachers receive a school laptop, have access to the latest smartboards in their classrooms, and benefit from various paid online teaching resources to assist in their planning and instruction.

Class sizes are kept small, averaging 25 students per group.

With a six-class entry system in place, each teacher is supported by a close-knit network of colleagues within their year group.

Our teachers benefit from a robust IT team, administrative supervisors to facilitate communication with parents, a strong SEN department, and professional student counselors.

Generic lesson plans are provided centrally, with classroom teachers expected to tailor these plans to meet the specific needs of their students.

The school prioritizes the caliber of its educators. Consequently, only highly skilled and experienced Primary teachers will be considered for interviews.

If this opportunity resonates with you, we invite you to continue reading and consider applying.
