About This Role
We are seeking an exceptional and experienced leader with a strong track record of improving outcomes across primary schools. The successful candidate will bring:
Leadership and School Improvement
- Successful headship and/or senior leadership experience, ideally across more than one primary setting
- Proven experience of leading and delivering sustained school improvement
- Experience of supporting school leaders to improve teaching, learning and outcomes
- Ability to develop and implement effective school improvement strategies at scale
Curriculum, Teaching and Standards
- Strong understanding of high-quality curriculum design, implementation and assessment
- Experience of improving teaching through coaching, professional dialogue and CPD
- Secure knowledge of data analysis and its use to drive pupil achievement
- Commitment to high expectations and inclusion for all pupils, including disadvantaged and SEND learners
System Leadership and Collaboration
- Experience of working across multiple schools or within a Trust, building effective partnerships
- Ability to influence, challenge and support leaders with credibility and professionalism
- Skilled in building collaborative networks and fostering a culture of shared responsibility
Knowledge and Professional Expertise
- Up-to-date knowledge of national education policy, including Ofsted, DfE and SIAMS frameworks
- Understanding of safeguarding requirements and commitment to maintaining a strong safeguarding culture
- Experience of working within Church school or values-led contexts (desirable)
Personal Qualities and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Integrity, discretion and professionalism in all aspects of the role
