As a member of the Science Department at GEMS Al Barsha National School, you will provide engaging, practical, and stimulating lessons in your area of expertise, helping students to grasp essential scientific concepts, enhance their analytical skills, and develop problem-solving capabilities. Additionally, you will actively engage with the broader school community through enrichment activities, school events, and continuous departmental improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in your specialized area of Science (Physics) that motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
  • Encourage curiosity and scientific literacy through inquiry-based, experimental learning.
  • Evaluate, document, and communicate student progress, using data to guide teaching strategies and differentiation.
  • Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates all learners and promotes academic excellence.
  • Collaborate with fellow colleagues in the Science Department to create innovative curricula and share effective teaching practices.
  • Effectively communicate with parents to provide regular updates regarding student progress and achievements.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, seek professional development opportunities, and engage in co-curricular activities.
