We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of ICT/Computing to join our Design and Technology department at the secondary school level.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Computer Science lessons following the UK curriculum. You will inspire students to develop their understanding of computing concepts, programming skills, and digital literacy while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (minimum requirement)
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in ICT/Computing at the secondary/high school level
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Computing or equivalent standards
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
  • Experience with computer hardware, software applications, networking fundamentals preferred
  • Ability to design lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Excellent classroom management skills with effective communication abilities
