We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of English to join our expanding Secondary & Senior School.

In this role, your duties will encompass:

  • Delivering inspiring and effective English lessons that are in line with the Cambridge/UK curriculum.
  • Creating inquiry-based learning opportunities that strengthen students' literacy, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Employing assessments to inform teaching and interventions, while providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Participating in the wider school community through tutoring, clubs, and enrichment activities, and collaborating closely with colleagues in the English department.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree in English or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification (such as PGCE/QTS or an equivalent international credential).
  • Demonstrated experience teaching KS3/KS4 English within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum, with proven success in GCSE/IGCSE. (Experience with A-Level or IB Diploma is beneficial).
  • Effective classroom management skills, inclusive strategies for multilingual students, and a strong command of digital tools.
  • A mindset oriented towards growth, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of students.

Compensation
