About This Role
- Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning strategies and resources utilized.
- Take responsibility for student attainment, achievement, and progress within the classes instructed.
- Ensure a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students at all times.
- Contribute to the moral and spiritual growth of students.
- Uphold high professional standards regarding attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct, and foster courteous, positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and visitors.
- Actively support and enhance positive professional and curriculum connections across all educational phases of the College.
- Engage fully in the performance management process and pursue ongoing personal and professional development.
- Follow school policies and procedures as outlined in the staff handbook and other available documentation.
- Communicate with parents/carers and external agencies when necessary.
- Demonstrated successful experience teaching in a secondary environment, specifically with KS3 and KS4.
- Skilled in delivering effective instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of all students through adaptive teaching methods and diverse learning strategies.
- Recognized as an excellent practitioner.
- Possess a solid understanding of recent changes in the curriculum.
