The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Teacher of Design and Technology to join our academic team and deliver an outstanding educational experience to our students. The ideal candidate will focus on student-centered learning, highlighting practical activities, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the subject to inspire, motivate, and challenge learners.
We seek an energetic and innovative educator to teach Design and Technology to students aged 11-18, with a background in delivering GCSE and A Level courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing engaging, hands-on lessons that promote creativity and develop practical skills in students.
Our goal is to unlock each student's creative potential and instill a lasting passion for Design and Technology that extends beyond the classroom. We aim for our students to gain the skills and experiences in Design and Technology that ignite their interest in pursuing careers in design and engineering following their graduation.
Since our inception in 2020, we have grown rapidly, creating an exciting opportunity for a candidate who can motivate others, maintain the highest standards, and develop systems that foster our ongoing success and excellence.
This position will also involve engagement in the co-curricular and pastoral aspects of school life, with the possibility of taking on form tutor duties for the right individual.
