About This Role
The Dragon is excited to announce an opening for an exceptional teacher to instruct Art for students in Years 4 to 8. We are looking for someone eager to engage fully in the vibrant life of our dynamic and successful school. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in senior school settings (both independent and maintained), as well as those who have taught prep school students (ages 8-13), whether as new entrants to the profession or seasoned educators. Each year, several students earn Art and Design scholarships and awards for senior schools.
Our Art Department is energetic, well-equipped, and stays updated with the latest advancements in teaching, aiming to nurture potential across all facets of the subject.
All faculty members are expected to participate in extra-curricular activities, whether through Activities, Clubs, or Quest. Those with sports talents will find numerous opportunities to showcase their skills, while our large school community embraces a diverse range of cultural and academic pursuits, ensuring plenty of opportunities for career advancement within the institution.
