About This Role
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic English educator to join our team as a **Subject Progress Lead – English**. **Key Responsibilities**
- Assist curriculum leaders in improving student performance and refining teaching methodologies.
- Oversee and implement student support strategies within the English department.
- Review data to guide interventions and track student progress.
- Participate in strategic planning aimed at enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.
- Facilitate professional growth through coaching, continuing professional development (CPD), and learning walks.
- Establish exceptional teaching standards and promote best practices.
- Generate monitoring reports and assess the effectiveness of support initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, senior leadership team (SLT), external partners, and stakeholders.
- Help manage day-to-day departmental operations and resources.
- Serve as a form tutor and contribute to the overall pastoral care of students.
