DIS boasts a diverse student population representing over 90 nationalities, which is central to our community ethos. Our outstanding facilities promote a holistic educational approach, providing rich opportunities in sports, performing arts, technology, leadership, creativity, and academic enrichment.
While our admission process is non-selective, our students consistently achieve remarkable examination results that rival those of top UK schools, advancing to prestigious universities around the globe. We integrate digital literacy throughout the curriculum to equip students for the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
In the Early Years, our customized, play-based continuous provision rigorously assesses students against the EYFS framework, laying solid foundations for future learning. In Primary, children enjoy a broad and enriching curriculum that includes a variety of non-core subjects. In Secondary, students complete IGCSEs in Year 11 before progressing to the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) or IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) in Years 12 and 13.
DIS operates under the Al-Futtaim Education Foundation (AFEF), a not-for-profit initiative of the Al-Futtaim family, aligned with the vision of the Government of Dubai and KHDA to provide future-ready education while maximizing positive social impact.
