We are currently inviting applications for experienced Science Teachers to join us, with positions available starting in August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes and nurtures individual strengths and learning preferences.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or requiring additional assistance.
- Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enrich student learning and engagement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to tailor teaching and provide personalized support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create and refine curriculum plans, resources, and assessments aligned with IB standards.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and the wider community to support student growth and wellbeing.
- Commit to continuous professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Uphold the values of GEMS and the principles of the IB Learner Profile in all areas of school life.
