Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including those with EAL, gifted learners, and those needing extra assistance.
- Utilize technology and innovative techniques to enrich student learning and enhance engagement.
- Evaluate, document, and communicate student progress effectively, using data to guide instruction and personalized support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with IB standards.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Establish positive connections with parents and the wider community to support student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Adhere to GEMS values and embody the IB Learner Profile in all facets of school life.
