About This Role

Runnymede College, a private, non-denominational British school located in Madrid, is committed to delivering a British education to children of all nationalities, starting from age two and continuing to age eighteen. Our academic framework follows the British National Curriculum.

Founded as a private institution in September 1967, our primary school began its journey in 1987. Since 1990, we have been located in La Moraleja, in the northern area of Madrid. The school is divided into three sections: Pre-Prep (Pre Nursery to Year 3), Prep (Years 4 to 8), and Senior School (Years 9 to 13).

Runnymede College is renowned for its academic success. In June 2025, 57% of our students achieved A-A* grades at A level, exceeding the 48% A*-A grades attained by independent schools across England this year. Moreover, 67% of our students received A*-A grades at IGCSE, a remarkable result compared to the 48% A*-A grades in the English independent school sector.

For the class of 2025, 83% of students transitioning to the UK will attend Top 10 universities as per the Sunday Times Good University Guide rankings. Notable UK institutions accepting this year’s graduates include Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, and LSE. Students pursuing higher education in the US are commencing their journeys at prestigious colleges such as Harvard, Columbia, UPenn, and Brown, among others.

Some of our students will continue their education in Spain at top institutions like ICADE, IE, and ICAI, while others will attend leading universities in France and Ireland.

We invite you to join our vibrant and rewarding educational community that extends beyond the classroom. Candidates should be ready to actively participate in the school's co-curricular activities.
