Northbourne Park School is a vibrant independent day and boarding institution catering to children aged 2–14, nestled in picturesque rural surroundings close to Deal and Sandwich. Our Squirrels Nursery offers a nurturing, stimulating, and adventurous environment for early years education. With outstanding outdoor learning facilities, small class sizes, and specialized instruction in Music, French, and PE, our Nursery plays a vital role within our Pre-Prep community.
We are on the lookout for a skilled, passionate, and proactive Nursery Manager to guide our Squirrels Nursery as we extend our offerings from 38 weeks to 48 weeks. This presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to become part of a school that emphasizes nature, creativity, early independence, and a supportive family-like atmosphere during this dynamic period of growth.
About the role
The Nursery Manager will offer strong leadership to the nursery team, ensuring the utmost standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will advocate for our outdoor-led philosophy, collaborate closely with the Head of Pre-Prep, and facilitate a smooth transition for children progressing through the Early Years and into Reception. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, delivering the EYFS curriculum, ensuring compliance with ISI standards, fostering parent partnerships, supporting staff development, and maintaining a secure and engaging environment both indoors and outdoors.
