Music Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops the yearly curriculum for the designated grade level.
• Creates lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and submits them for approval to academic coordinators.
• Reviews feedback from academic coordinators and adjusts lesson plans as necessary.
• Remains updated on the latest educational resources, especially technology for classroom instruction, and integrates these into teaching methods.
• Designs engaging and interactive learning activities for students, fostering a classroom atmosphere that encourages education.
• Produces worksheets, handouts, and various instructional resources that correspond with lesson plans, curriculum, assessments, and examinations.
• Responsible for timely grading and providing feedback on student assignments.
• Assesses, monitors, and communicates students' growth, progress, and outcomes.
• Identifies students who may require additional support, whether academic or otherwise, and ensures they receive the necessary assistance.
• Participates in extracurricular activities and engages in school events such as assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Ensures student safety at all times.
• Collaborates with fellow educators to share innovative ideas, teaching strategies, content, and professional insights.
• Engages with parents and offers feedback during Parent Teacher Meetings and as needed.
