About This Role

Rugby School Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Physics to join our thriving school.

Our School

Rugby School Dubai (RSD) will open its doors in August 2026. It will be the next chapter of Rugby School’s legacy, where British heritage meets the UAE’s forward ambition. Guided by the ethos, “The Whole Person, The Whole Point,” we pair academic depth with pastoral strength so pupils grow in scholarship and in self. Across rigorous academics, sport, performing arts and music, leadership and service, and House life, every experience will help each child find their voice, expand their horizons, and lead with purpose.

This is more than a school; it is a community where character leads achievement and tradition inspires tomorrow

The school will take pupils from FS1-Year 13 and is in the Nad al Sheba district of Dubai. We are proud members of the Aldar Education group.

  • Confidence and enthusiasm teaching across a broad age range, from Pre-Prep through to Senior

  • The energy and commitment to offer a vibrant range of co-curricular activities and performance opportunities

  • A collaborative approach: you will work closely with colleagues across the Performing Arts faculty

Desirable

  • Piano accompaniment skills: the ability to accompany students and ensembles is a significant advantage

  • Additional instrumental specialism (strings, woodwind, brass, or percussion)

  • Experience in leading and organising concerts and events within school for the music department

  • Experience with Music Technology

  • The ability to teach other Performing Arts disciplines (Drama, Dance, or related areas)
