About This Role

Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is looking for a dedicated, flexible, and passionate primary school teacher to commence in January.

Established in August 2017, Al Rabeeh Academy is a stunning, purpose-built institution and part of an expanding network of schools. Since 1979, the Al Rabeeh name has stood for excellence in education and student welfare throughout the city. Our academy is affiliated with the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), which offers fantastic opportunities for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and professional development.

Al Rabeeh Academy is a bilingual private institution catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, delivering both the English National Curriculum and Arabic instruction. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic team players who possess the energy, commitment, and passion to contribute to the growth of Al Rabeeh Academy, with potential for internal advancement as the school expands.

Candidates must align with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which has a significant number of Arabic-speaking students. The chosen candidate should be an effective communicator, adept at fostering open lines of communication with students, staff, and parents. They must lead by example and actively engage in the Academy's extracurricular activities program.

Applicants must be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and primary-level teaching qualification, and have at least two years of experience teaching in schools that implement the National Curriculum of England.

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Awareness of current UK initiatives and educational developments
• A genuine commitment to excellence in learning, teaching, and leadership, with a belief in children's potential to achieve high standards in a supportive environment
• The ability to promote creative learning and focus on developing innovative skills suited for the 21st century
• Proficiency in using IT to enhance and extend students' learning experiences
• Experience with data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external evaluations to track student progress
• Experience teaching EAL students is preferred but not mandatory
