Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park is the flagship campus within the region, serving students aged 3–18 years. We are looking for a Head of Art who will join the Secondary International Section to help us guide the school and work with our colleagues to take us to the next level. If you want to be part of our team you will need to be passionate about learning and knowledgeable about the factors that affect learning.

The Role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Puts children at the heart of everything they do and cares about their wellbeing.

  • Enjoys being a team player willing to work with, learn from and help develop others.

  • Is an inspiring Head of Art with a proven track record in making students better.

  • Has a genuine interest in leadership, getting better at leading and supporting others to improve.

  • Is an outstanding teaching practitioner with minimum degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field and possess a teaching qualification (PGCE, Diploma in Education, or equivalent).

  • Has successful experience in middle or senior leadership roles within a school context with deep understanding of Art at IGCSE and/or A-Level.

  • Has experience or ability of teaching Art at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

  • Is someone who recognises and rewards excellent learning.

  • Is a strong communicator, who is personable, caring and passionate with high expectations of themselves and others. You want to get better!

  • Is committed to their own continued professional development and excited about professional learning conversations with like minded colleagues.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and sees the pastoral responsibilities of a teacher as central to everyone’s role.

The Package

This is a two-year contract with an option to renew at the end. Benefits include:

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
