The Role
In the capacity of an Early Years Teacher, you will design and implement outstanding lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all learners. You will establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.
In addition to classroom responsibilities, you will play an active role in the broader school community, engaging in co-curricular activities and community events that aid in the holistic development of our students, both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver captivating and well-organized lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Assess, document, and report on student progress to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
- Create a secure, stimulating, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters effective learning.
- Exhibit current knowledge of the curriculum, subject matter, and effective teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan units of work, exchange best practices, and participate in curriculum development.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide regular updates on student progress and overall well-being.
- Engage in co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, school events, and committees.
- Uphold the GEMS Education Core Values and adhere to school policies consistently.
