Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher

Raffles American School (RAS) is on the lookout for a driven and creative ELL teacher to enhance our Middle & High School team for the academic year 2026.

Job Summary

At Raffles American School Bangkok, teachers are expected to:

Teachers are expected to work from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on regular school days, with a typical weekly breakdown of approximately 18 hours of teaching, 5 hours of breaks, 7 hours of planning, 4 hours of meetings/training, and 6 hours of duties.

Required Skills & Experience

•
Proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively collaborate within the RAS community.

•
A teaching license that qualifies for a full-time, permanent position at a US public school for the relevant subject and age group.

•
Licenses from other countries may be accepted if reciprocated by a US state (including England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Gibraltar, New Zealand, USA).

•
Demonstration of professional conduct and a dedication to school standards.

We offer competitive salaries for fully qualified and licensed teachers in full-time roles, but there is no housing stipend. Candidates will have their flight to Thailand reimbursed and will receive round-trip airfare to their home country at the conclusion of each contract (for overseas applicants only). RAS will reimburse visa and work-permit expenses. Medical, accident, disability, and life insurance coverage are also provided.
